KTIB attend EACH Carol concert

Last night KTIB were pleased to be able to attend the EACH Carol concert at St Andrew’s Church in Eaton. The evening was compared by Carol Plunkett who is the fundraising manager for Norfolk, and she explained how vital the money and services which are donated to EACH are. EACH are currently supporting around 200 families around the Norfolk area whose children face life debilitating illnesses and sadly, for few, are preparing for their last Christmas as a family.

Whilst many children and families take for granted a trip to see Father Christmas or a visit to the Zoo or dance studio, a child facing these illnesses might not always get the opportunity to complete these visits. With the funding provided to EACH they are able to make these visits a reality for these children and provide the whole family with memories to cherish.

The church was filled with the beautiful voices of the child choir ‘Sing Happy’ whose dulcet tones were a joy to hear before a heartfelt poem was conveyed by an EACH Parent. The evening also heard a fun poem read by one of the children from the choir whose Snowman was kept in the Freezer and got many a chuckle from the congregation.

KTIB would like to thank EACH for allowing us to be a part of this magical evening and for Rev’d Philip Rodd and Peter Taylor Funeral Directors who provided teas and mince pies for us all. This year instead of sending Christmas cards we will be making a contribution to this charity.
