Multi Award winning insurance broker KTIB donate £2,684.00 to the East Coast Truckers Charity

KTIB Claims Technician Amanda George (pictured left) got to share in the excitement along with other charity volunteers, at a music and entertainment event held at the Norwich Forum on Saturday. Amanda presented the charity with a massive cheque for £2,684.00.

East Coast Truckers is a charity based in East Anglia whose motto is 'Delivering loads of fun to Special Children'. The majority of the charity's income is spent on events such as Christmas parties, trips to the circus and local zoos, as well as other local days out for children who are disadvantaged or have special needs. Each Summer East Coast Truckers host their world famous Children's Convoy when they have around 80 trucks taking children with special needs to Pleasurewood Hills and Great Yarmouth for the day. Thousands of people line the route from County Hall Norwich to the seafront at Gt. Yarmouth via Pleasurewood Hills.

Sheila Sarsby (pictured right) president of East Coast Truckers, said: "In these times of austerity, it is very hard to run all the activities the charity likes to do. With businesses like KTIB donating to us, it makes our job much easier."

Robin Plaster Managing Director of KTIB continues: "We are extremely pleased that our charity initiative has been such a tremendous success. Since its launch in November 2013 we have seen a significant increase in clients reporting their claims via our online system, which is great news for the charity."

KTIB Claims donate £1 for every claim reported using their online system to East Coast Truckers and so far have raised over £6500 for the charity.
